All reservations made through this website must be accompanied by valid credit card details

Age: You must be 18 years or over. Proof of ID will be required on arrival and presentation of credit card.

All rates are quoted in NZ dollars on a per night basis and include GST @ 15%. All accounts must be settled directly with Ashwood Manor.

The prices indicated are per room, for the number of people and the date(s) selected previously, unless otherwise specified (packages).

Rates do not apply to conferences, conventions or special events for which contracted rates and special terms and conditions apply


Ashwood Manor Hamilton, reserves the right to charge or pre-authorise a credit card on bookings made via a booking site where there is no payment gateway. This includes the www.ashwoodmanor.co.nz website.

Ashwood Manor will charge your account (the registered guest) for any additional charges applicable during your stay such as: internet, meals, room service, phone calls, which much be paid in full prior to departure, unless by prior arrangement.

Restaurant Charge-back services attracts a 10% administration charge.

3.Overdue Accounts

All accounts are payable on departure. We reserve the right to charge overdue/recovery fees on all accounts not paid by due date.

4.Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be received no later than 24 Hours prior to your arrival.

All cancellations attract a $25.00 administration fee.

If you cancel 24 hours prior to your arrival or less you will be charged 100% of the total accommodation amount. This includes no shows and cancellation of nights after arrival.

Please note: Special events and promotional room rates/offers, a no cancellation policy applies, which means, no refunds or changes permitted unless otherwise stated.

All cancellations and amendments must be received in writing and/or with the website you made the original booking with. Refunds will only be made to the credit card debited for the original transaction.

The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate. Fluctuations - This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand Dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed.

5.Smoking Policy

In consideration of our guests, ASHWOOD MANOR does NOT permit SMOKING either in the rooms or immediately outside rooms or on balconies. There is a dedicated smoking area on the property with ashtrays specifically for this purpose.

n the event of someone having smoked in or around the rooms we will engage a specialist cleaning company. We reserve the right to charge such costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest. “Resulting loss of income” could mean that following guests refuse to stay in the room booked due to the odour as a result of the breach.

6.Room condition

If your room is left in an unsatisfactory state, this includes, excessive rubbish, misuse of Ashwood Manor’s property (including bed linen), any unhygienic un-cleanliness, excessive mess or odor in the kitchen, which causes unwarranted cleaning time by Ashwood Manor staff or specialists. All applicable cleaning charges will be debited from the registered guests credit card.

7.Damage to Motel Property

Please report any damage to Ashwood Reception immediately. Non-reported damage will be automatically charged at market rates for any repairs or replacements.

8.Visitors are welcome

Visitors are welcome, however, we ask consideration be given to other guests. Please ensure guests have vacated by 10pm. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property, that require specialist cleaning or repair will be charged to the registered guest.

Should a registered guest of Ashwood Manor cause a disturbance whilst on premise, we have the right to remove you and a refund will not be available.

10.Arrival and Departure Times

Check in time is 2pm -9.00pm (unless by prior arrangement) Upon arrival, each guest will be required to sign the Ashwood Manor registration form, accepting the terms and conditions of stay.

Check out time is 10am

Subject to the motel status on the day of departure, late check-out may be available, please check with reception should you require this facility. There may be a charge applied for a late check out.

11.Check out time is 7.30am - 10am (unless by prior arrangement)

Early departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless the motel management approved are able to resell the accommodation.

1. Reservations/Bookings

All reservations, bookings and enquiries can be made by email or facsimile and will be replied to within 24 hours. For instant confirmation please reserve via our website or alternatively call us directly.

1. Direct Bookings/Reservations

Direct bookings/reservations with the ASHWOOD MANOR will be at the rate adverstised or as per contracted rates agreed prior, in New Zealand (NZD) dollars and will be due for settlement upon arrival, unless by alternative prior arrangement. Method of payment (Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Eftpos).

1. Child Policy

Children under the age of 2yrs are free, utilizing existing bedding. A portacot is available on request @ $20 per night and is subject to availability. All children over the age of 2yrs will be charged at the extra person rate of $30.00 per person.

Special Event Reservation/Cancellation Policy

All reservations over a Special Event Period for example: Field Days; require a minimum of 50% and up to 100% deposit at the time of booking/confirmation.

Special Event Reservation Cancellations:

Within 45 days -- 50% Deposit will be retained (non refundable)

Within 7 days -- Your credit card will be charged for the balance of your reservation value and a refund will not be available

13.Force Majeure

Ashwood Manor will not be in any breach of this agreement or in any way liable, if it is prevented from complying with the supply of accommodation and other related services by reason of Act of God, Act of Public Enemy, War, Earthquake, Riot, Fire, Storm, Flood, Explosion, Compliance with any Law of Government Restraint Order, Rule Regulations, Strikes, Lock Outs or any other cause not reasonably within the control of the hotel.
